Rudolph reindeer cookies: kids’ favorites

by Elena Levati

Rudolph reindeer cookies: kids’ favorites and, without a doubt, my little girls too!

The myth of the red-nosed Santa Claus reindeer is definitely universal and always wins the hearts of all children! So, to make Rudolph “one of the family” I find very cute the idea of a special cookie!

I certainly did not invent Rudolph reindeer cookies (unfortunately: D): they are famous all over the world and there are many recipes on the internet!

They are essentially shortcrust cookies very simply decorated with a sketch that recalls the reindeer antlers and the inevitable red nose created with a smarties!

How did I customize my Rudolph reindeer cookies?

I customized them giving the shortcrust pastry a darker color, more like a reindeer 😉 by adding a little cocoa to the dough.

Then I also customized the taste, using a part of grated coconut: we know that the coconut and chocolate mix is always super winning! You agree with me, right?
