Savory Witch Fingers: a Halloween Treat! 😀
Why a treat?
Because My witch fingers are different from the traditional recipe: thay aren’t sweet biscuits, but savory snacks of shortcrust pastry prepared with wholemeal flour!

Only 4 ingredients, a few minutes to knead and shape your fingers and voilà!

WITCH FINGERS: HALLOWEEN SAVORY RECIPE
A very easy but special idea for your halloween buffet! Savory witch fingers made of shortcrust pastry!
Ingredients
- 100 gr wholewheat flour
- 65 gr butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- almond slices.
Instructions
- Put the flour on the pastry board, make a big hole in the middle, put in egg yolk, salt and butter cutted into cubes. Knead all ingredients. Forme a ball, wrap it in plastic and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Cut the dough into pieces and, on a floured surface, extend one by one forming cords.
- Cut each cord in 2 or 3 pieces getting the witch fingers.
- With a knife make small incisions on the fingers to give the idea of phalanxes.
- Using the almonds slices, forme the nails.
- Bake the witch finger in the preheated oven at 200 °C for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve your Witch fingers as appetizer or funny snack in a thrilling buffet!!
