Grilled tomino cheese with fresh fruit. They always told me: “Don’t let the farmer know how good is cheese with pears” and… they were right!
I’ve always waited to meet a farmer to whom I do not reveal this secret and, in the meantime, I’ve always silently enjoyed the delight of the cheese and pear mix. And today’s recipe is proof of this.
Tomino is one of my favorite italian cheese and, even if here in Spain I can’t find it so easily, when I have one on my table, the first thing I do is prepare my grill 😀
I think tomino gives the best grilled: its tender heart is something deliciuos!
So today I propose you a perfect recipe for quick summer lunches, rich in fresh fruit: grilled tomino cheese with nectarine peaches, saturn peaches and pears. To make it even more special, a little spread of peach jam!
Super super yummy !!!

GRILLED TOMINO WITH FRESH FRUIT
Ingredients
- 2 tomini cheese
- 1 pear
- 1 white nectarine peach
- 1 saturn peach
- 2 teaspoons peach jam
- olive oil
- black pepper.
Instructions
- Wash the fruit and cut into wedges.
- Heat a grill or a non-stick pan brushing with little oil.
- Heat the tomini on one side for 1 minute, turn them gently on the other side and spread them with the jam. Heat for 2 minutes more: in this way the cheese will remain compact outside but with a soft heart.
- Immediately move the tomini on the plates, decorate each with some fruit, completed with freshly ground black pepper and serve (if you like you can add some aromatic herbs like fennel, thyme or rosemary).
